About

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I have always loved fashion and nature ever since I was a little girl. Growing up in the early 2000’s I was made aware of climate change at a very young age and knowing that something I loved was at risk of devastation deeply saddened me.

Since then it has been my mission to learn about sustainability so that one day I can positively change the fashion industry’s impact on the environment. I hope to help fashion companies become circular and adopt healthier practices in the future.

Inspiration & Influences

Film, music, and television serve as a huge inspiration for me. I have always loved watching movies for the visual elements and costume design/wardrobe.

When I moved to New York City to attend Parsons, sustainable design and textile innovation became my obsession. I also look to wildlife as a primary source of reference and motivation when designing.

Heavily influenced by the maximalism movement and designers such as Martin Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, Rei Kawakubo, and Alexander McQueen; I possess a deep love for conceptual fashion and wearable art.

Skills

Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, I love to reimagine existing brands and create new collections for them through the use of graphic design.

education

I graduated with honors from Parsons School of Design where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Design & Management and a minor in Design Studies. I previously received my Associate’s Degree from the Miami Fashion Institute (MFI) and have also earned certificates from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
